Grading & Leveling in Windsor, CO
Brooks Landscape has been designing and installing grading & leveling for homeowners in Windsor since 2006. Windsor has grown faster than almost any other community in Northern Colorado, and Brooks Landscape has grown with it. Our crews know Larimer & Weld County's soil conditions, drainage patterns, and local permit requirements — and we build every project to last through Northern Colorado's freeze-thaw cycles.

How We Work
Most landscape problems—from soggy turf to cracking hardscape to foundation moisture—trace back to grade issues that weren't addressed when the landscape was first installed. Brooks Landscape handles residential grading and leveling as both a standalone service and as the first phase of any larger landscape project.
On new properties, especially those in newer subdivisions where builder grading was rough and not finished for landscaping, proper grade correction is the most important thing we can do before any planting or hardscape goes in. We establish positive drainage away from the structure, correct low spots that would otherwise pond, and create a finished grade appropriate for turf or planting.
On existing properties, we diagnose drainage problems first—where water is coming from, where it's going, and what's impeding its movement—before committing to a grading solution. Sometimes grade correction is the answer; sometimes it's a combination of grading and drainage infrastructure.
We use appropriate equipment for each site scale, from hand tools for tight residential access to compact track loaders and skid steers for more substantial grading work.
Local Water & Permit Context
Windsor is served by both the Town of Windsor Water and Sewer Department and East Larimer County Water District depending on location. We confirm your service district before finalizing irrigation design so the system is sized and zoned correctly for your actual water supply.
Windsor requires permits for structural hardscape work including retaining walls, decks, and pergolas. The Town of Windsor Building Department processes residential permits and we coordinate that process on your behalf for any work that triggers a permit requirement.
