Irrigation Systems in Windsor, CO
Brooks Landscape has been designing and installing irrigation systems for homeowners in Windsor since 2006. Windsor has grown faster than almost any other community in Northern Colorado, and Brooks Landscape has grown with it. Our crews know Larimer & Weld County's soil conditions, drainage patterns, and local permit requirements — and we build every project to last through Northern Colorado's freeze-thaw cycles.

How We Work
Irrigation design matters more than most homeowners realize. A system sized and zoned for actual plant water needs uses 20 to 40 percent less water than a coverage-only system while maintaining a healthier landscape. In Northern Colorado, where outdoor water use is a real cost and water efficiency programs offer rebates, good irrigation design pays for itself.
Brooks Landscape designs irrigation systems zone-by-zone based on your plant types, sun exposure, slope, and soil. Turf zones, shrub zones, and drip zones each run at different rates and durations—and that's how the system is designed, not how it's adjusted by the homeowner after the fact.
We install Rain Bird and Hunter components for heads, valves, and mainline. For smart controllers, we use Rachio, which integrates with local weather data to adjust run times automatically based on rainfall and evapotranspiration. This is the most effective single upgrade for reducing outdoor water use.
Every system includes properly installed backflow prevention and pressure regulation to protect your household water supply and ensure consistent performance across all zones.
Local Water & Permit Context
Windsor is served by both the Town of Windsor Water and Sewer Department and East Larimer County Water District depending on location. We confirm your service district before finalizing irrigation design so the system is sized and zoned correctly for your actual water supply.
Windsor requires permits for structural hardscape work including retaining walls, decks, and pergolas. The Town of Windsor Building Department processes residential permits and we coordinate that process on your behalf for any work that triggers a permit requirement.
