How We Work

An outdoor kitchen is one of the highest-use features you can add to a Northern Colorado property—and one of the most complex to build well. Material selection, appliance integration, weatherproofing, and structural support all need to be right for the kitchen to hold up through years of Colorado UV, temperature swings, and freeze-thaw cycles.

Brooks Landscape designs and builds outdoor kitchens in-house from foundation through countertop. We don't subcontract the structural work. That means one team knows the entire build and one point of contact for the finished product.

We work with premium appliance brands including Lynx, Coyote, Blaze, and Bull for grills and components, and we build the surrounding structure in concrete block with stone veneer, stucco, or other finishes to match your home's architecture. Counter surfaces are selected for outdoor durability—not the same materials you'd use inside.

Overhead structure integration—pergolas, shade covers, and patio roof connections—is part of the design process. We coordinate all of it so the finished kitchen fits the outdoor space as a whole.

Local Water & Permit Context

Windsor is served by both the Town of Windsor Water and Sewer Department and East Larimer County Water District depending on location. We confirm your service district before finalizing irrigation design so the system is sized and zoned correctly for your actual water supply.

Windsor requires permits for structural hardscape work including retaining walls, decks, and pergolas. The Town of Windsor Building Department processes residential permits and we coordinate that process on your behalf for any work that triggers a permit requirement.

Frequently Asked Questions

What appliances do you install in outdoor kitchens?
We install built-in grills, side burners, refrigerators, sinks, access drawers, and warming drawers from brands including Lynx, Coyote, Blaze, and Bull. We can source appliances or work with equipment you've selected.
How long does an outdoor kitchen project take?
A typical outdoor kitchen build runs 2 to 4 weeks depending on complexity. Projects involving significant structural work, gas line rough-in, or electrical coordination may run longer.
Do outdoor kitchens add value to a Northern Colorado home?
Yes—outdoor living features are among the highest-return investments in Front Range residential real estate. A well-built outdoor kitchen that matches the home's architecture typically returns well above its cost on resale.
